From the 26th to the 30th of April 2016 I attended the 3rd Geant4 School & Monte Carlo Workshop for Radiotherapy, Imaging and Radiation Protection at University of Wollongong. I gave a well received presentation highlighting the importance of my research to improving the accuracy of radiation dose simulations for hadron therapy. Learning about Geant4 was very interesting and it is clear Geant4 is a powerful tool for radiotherapy simulations. The hands-on sessions were very useful. To the left is a simulation I made using Geant4.
Wollongong is a lovely place and I would recommend the Geant4 School & Monte Carlo Workshop to anyone interested.
